anger…it’s real

tonight i sat watching the history channel, well i know it’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but they were airing a show called 102 minutes that changed the world. the show was all real life personal videos time-lining and capturing the tragedy that hit on 9.11.01 i could barely believe what i was watching. much of the video footage looked familiar. i can remember going to work on that day and standing at the counter in the church foyer watching as the second plane hit the world trade center. we were glued to the TV. it was a tuesday and that night we had service, needless to say we sand and then just prayed for our country and went home to watch more chaos unfold. when you watch these images one emotion comes to mind…ANGER! it hurts to see people suffer innocently for nothing more than being a victim of circumstance. the images are filled with disbelief, anger, fear and total chaos.

tonight i also read articles online about MTV’s vma awards. what kinda loser makes fun of someone with morals. it seems the host of the show poked fun at the jonas brothers promise rings until Jordan Sparks came out and set the record straight. Go Jordan! nothing makes me more angry when a loser makes fun of someone with morals and faith, especially teenagers. “The band of three brothers, whose father is a pastor, famously wear the rings on their left-hand ring finger to remind themselves of their “promise to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure ’till marriage.” They also abstain from alcohol, tobacco and drugs.”

Purity is not a joke!

here’s a good scripture for the host of the VMA’s mathew 18:6 Jesus said “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” sorry for the angry post:)

here is a clip from the article on the VMA’s
