JESUS above all else…

“Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The fame of Jesus…  The report of Jesus.  What people were talking about.  People were not just talking about him, he was not simply in the news.  He was the news.  His Fame brought people far away that were sick and afflicted and He healed them.  When the story, news or fame of what Jesus is doing spreads…it will draw people that are afflicted.  People that need healing and hope.

The greatest affliction is sin.  We need to realize that when we lift up Jesus.  When we allow him to move in us and thru us, lives will be changed.  Lives will be healed. How famous is Jesus? Are you lifting his story up, or is your story more important.  Do we leave a service and talk about the show or do we talk about what JESUS did in the moment? We need to make Jesus the focus of our story.  Our story lived out each day can get in the ay of Jesus’ story lived out in our lives daily. The simplicity of the Gospel is putting Jesus at the center of it all.  The focus of the ministry we are leading is not the band, the facility or the big event.  The focus of all we do should be JESUS above all else!

Lord May we be reminded today in the midst of hustle.  In the midst of making it happen, that you are above all else the most important part.  May we find our conversation focus on what you are doing in all we endeavor to do!  May your fame spread and may lives be eternally healed.

JESUS…above all else!
